1. Attorney Profile Integrity

Lawlova may create attorney profiles from professional or public information before an attorney claims the profile. An unclaimed profile is not represented as attorney-controlled. Attorneys may request ownership through Lawlova’s claim and verification process.

2. Profile Claim Verification

Lawlova does not transfer control of an attorney profile merely because a claimant knows public information such as an attorney name or bar number. Claim verification may use professional-email verification, official regulatory information, firm-domain information, independently performed staff verification, and other appropriate evidence. Conflicting ownership requests require review and do not automatically displace an existing owner.

3. Verification Labels

Lawlova treats profile ownership, license verification, and identity or professional verification as separate concepts. A “Profile Claimed” indicator means the profile has an approved owner. A professional or verification badge may reflect additional checks. No badge guarantees legal ability, service quality, availability, or case outcome.

4. Office Locations

Lawlova distinguishes physical offices from virtual offices and mailing addresses. Location-based directory eligibility may depend on verified physical-office information. Additional locations expand geographic eligibility but are not intended to multiply an attorney’s ranking weight.

5. Reviews

Reviews are governed by the Lawlova Review Guidelines. Reviewers must use a verified-email Lawlova account and describe their own qualifying client or consultation experience. Reviews are subject to moderation, and approved reviews may include both positive and negative experiences. A negative review is not removed merely because an attorney disagrees with it.

6. Review Manipulation

Lawlova prohibits fake or deceptive reviews, self-reviews, coordinated rating manipulation, review swapping, impersonation, improper incentives, and attempts to circumvent review restrictions. Lawlova may use account, network, text-similarity, velocity, affiliation, and other integrity signals when reviewing suspicious activity.

7. Attorney Responses and Confidentiality

Attorney responses may be moderated before publication. Attorneys should not disclose privileged, confidential, sealed, or otherwise protected information when responding to a review or submitting a dispute.

8. Featured Placement

Lawlova may offer paid Featured placement. Featured placement is a promotional placement and is not a statement that Lawlova considers one lawyer more qualified than another. Multiple office locations do not multiply ranking weight.

9. Messaging Safety

Lawlova may facilitate initial communications between consumers and attorneys. Sending a message does not guarantee a response and does not itself establish an attorney-client relationship. Users should not use Lawlova messaging for emergencies or critical legal deadlines.

10. Reporting Concerns

Users may use available Lawlova account, review-dispute, profile-correction, and support tools to report concerns. Reports do not automatically result in removal or restriction; Lawlova may review relevant information and take action consistent with applicable policies.

11. Enforcement

Lawlova may warn users, restrict review privileges, restrict accounts, reject or remove content, investigate suspicious activity, preserve records, or take other proportionate action to protect users, privacy, security, and platform integrity. Legal requests and binding orders are handled in accordance with applicable law.
